My protocol
Before I get into the details, let me share the protocol I used to reach NED.
Before I start, this is not medical advice. This is one person’s experience, though I know another person who followed this protocol and was declared NED, with a negative ctDNA test result. Nor do I recommend relying solely on a stack of supplements and off-label medicines. If surgery can remove some or all of your cancer and you can live with any negative effects of the surgery, you should probably do the surgery. I’m less enthusiastic about chemotherapy, as its side effects are so severe, but it is a powerful tool, and I will share things I have learned to help reduce the side effects. I do believe that chemo played a significant role in getting me to NED.

Here is my protocol. It must be pulsed to avoid overloading your liver. 2 weeks on, 1 week off should help. But also take liver support (see below) and get your liver enzymes checked regularly.

Diet
There is a lot of argument as to the best diet for treating cancer. I personally tried keto as Dr Thomas Seyfried strongly advocates this for brain cancer patients. But I was already actively being treated with chemotherapy when I started, and the steroids I was given made ketosis impossible. I switched to a low-glycemic Mediterranean diet, as advocated by Jane McLelland, and had much more success.
Exercise
Someone said that if exercise could be bottled, it would be the most successful drug ever.

High Dose IV Vitamin C 75 grams
After starting the diet, exercise, and the drugs and supplements below, I had several weeks of high-dose IV Vitamin C at 75 grams per infusion. Unfortunately, there aren't many high-quality studies on this, and the treatment was unfairly dismissed due to poor testing. There are some studies, for example:
Chemotherapy
I had two forms of chemotherapy.
From September 2023 to May 2024, I received FOLFOX and Avastin every 2 months. This did good things for me. Everything but my liver was cleared.
I pushed for an HAI pump, and despite my oncologist’s resistance, I was approved for one. I hoped that this would enable me to be a candidate for surgery and get to NED. But the first round of systemic FOLFIRI every 2 weeks and FUDR via the HAI pump every 4 weeks only managed to make the liver mets smaller without removing any of them. This was at the cost of exhaustion. I agreed to do another round, but by January 2025, I was sleeping almost constantly. I pushed my doctor for a one-month break. After that break, my liver mets had not grown; they just looked more calcified. My oncologist suggested we just do watch-and-wait, with no treatments, and see what would happen. It's been a year now, and the calcified liver mets have shrunk by half. I can only guess, but sometime in December 2024, my tumors died, and my body slapped calcium bandaids over the dead cells.
Prescriptions in the U.S.
You will probably need a doctor to prescribe these, at least in the United States. If you can procure them where you are without a prescription, I strongly advise you to still seek a knowledgeable doctor’s advice.
It is hard to say when I started this. Many of the supplements were started when I started chemotherapy in September 2023. The full list, as shown here, started in October 2024. I cannot say for sure, but I believe the early partial protocol helped my chemotherapy to be more effective, clearing everything but my liver. The full protocol then choked the remaining cancer starting in October 2024.
